We’ve refreshed the To Do experience to bring everything you’re responsible for into one simple, streamlined interface.
Switch between your tasks and actions with ease — and if there’s a filter you use often, you can save it as a quick filter. For example, you might save “My actions” or “Team tasks” to get back to them in just one click.
We’ve also brought the Calendar to the fore, now handily located below To Do in your sidebar. It shows due dates for both tasks and actions in one place, so you can quickly see what’s coming up and plan your week with confidence.

One place for everything
Tasks and actions now sit side by side in the To Do area, so there’s no need to jump between different areas of ecoPortal to manage what’s assigned to you or your team. The task and action tables have also been modernised to match the look and feel of registers – so they’re familiar and easier to use. You’ll also notice handy features like more Page Information available directly from the table on hover.
Use the new View Switcher to easily switch between Tasks and Actions, and stay focused on what matters.
The Calendar is just one click away
See what’s coming up at a glance. The Calendar now shows due dates for both tasks and actions in one visual layout, easily accessible from the sidebar.
Save filters for quick access
We’ve made it easier to focus on what matters most. Just apply the filters you use regularly – like tasks or actions assigned to you or your team, save them, and tag them as a quick filter for one-click access whenever you need them.
Simplified dashboards
We’ve introduced standardised dashboards for tasks and actions – designed to reduce setup time and improve consistency.
Unlike other areas of ecoPortal, the data for actions and tasks is consistent across every site. With this in mind, we’ve introduced one standard Tasks Dashboard and one standard Actions Dashboard, both filled with the most common and valuable chart types for each.
Note: Custom task or action dashboards will remain available for Beta users during the Beta period of the rollout only. Learn more here.
The first stage of this release will be a Beta period that will last for approximately four weeks, before we roll it out to all ecoPortal sites and users straight afterwards.
There’ll be an opt-out toggle available – just for Beta users and only during the Beta period. If you’d prefer to switch back to the legacy design during this time, you can (any custom dashboards you’ve created will also remain available in the legacy design during the Beta period).

You’ll receive an email reminder at least 1 week before your organisation-wide rollout.
We’re continuing to improve the To Do experience. Next up, we’re working on filter widgets – giving you the ability to choose which filters are turned into widgets visible on tables and dashboards. This will make it easier to access your most-used filters, without needing multiple dashboards with different filters to see your desired views.
